The schools in Madison and nearby neighborhoods are part of the Rockingham County School System. The System offers schools with grades from Kindergarten through High School to meet any of your education needs. The administrative offices for all of the schools are located at 511 Harrington Highway in Eden, NC. The System is governed by the Rockingham County Board of Education. It's comprised of eleven members. Six of them are elected by the districts and five are elected at large. Each member serves a four year term on the board.
