The Town of Madison offers numerous recreational opportunities and activities to its citizens. Idol Park offers a covered picnic shelter along with a children's playground, a walking trail, basketball courts and a Little League Baseball field.

   

 

For those who enjoy outdoor activities, the Dan River provides both fun and beauty. Canoes and Kayaks are accessible to the river at both the Lindsey Bridge Road and Hwy. 704 Bridge Accesses.

The Town of Madison is also the home of the Annual Dan River Canoe & Kayak Race sponsored by the M-M Recreation Center.
