Madison's Public Works Garage
Note: The Town of Madison recently adopted an Oil and Grease Control Ordinance which regulates the total amount of fats, wax, grease and/or oil discharged to the Wastewater System. The predominant users effected by the new ordinance will be restaurants, schools, septic tank haulers and major commercial and industrial users.
The Town of Madison also adopted a Water Conservation Ordinance this past year, which offers incentives for the installation of low flow plumbing devices. New connections and questions related to water and sewer should be directed to Finance Department at 120 N. Market Street or by calling 427-2271.

GARBAGE COLLECTION:
Residential: Curbside, Once per week
Commercial: Curbside, Twice per week
GARBAGE COLLECTION FEE:
Residential - $12.00/month
Commercial - $24.00/month
Recyclables are picked up at the curb on a bi-weekly basis and may be placed in garbage containers, trash bags, boxes, or any like container.

many items as possible. Recycling ensures that our landfill fees remain
low and has a positive impact on our environment.
